I’ve always been a creative person. My background is in photography, branding, and interior design, but a few years ago I found myself wanting something a little different that was slower, more hands-on, and a reason to step away from a screen for a while. I started taking pottery classes just looking for a creative outlet, and it quickly became something I completely fell in love with.

It's so incredible to me to make pieces that become part of someone’s everyday life. From the mug you reach for every morning, a bowl sitting on your kitchen counter, or even just a piece that caught your eye for its unique color that you just had to own for yourself. That idea became the foundation of my vision for 8th Haus.

Alongside handmade pottery, I also started hosting mobile Paint-Your-Own pottery events as a way to bring creativity into local businesses and gathering spaces around the Carolinas. My goal has always been to create experiences that feel relaxed, inspiring, and genuinely fun, while being less intimidating than a formal art class. I create an atmosphere that is more of a creative social night out with good people.

At the end of the day, 8th Haus is more than just pottery and events. It’s a community of creative people coming together to make beautiful things, try something new, and connect over shared interests.
